Abstract: As far as geographical position point of view that District has extension from 27^o 57’ N to 28^o 53’ N latitude but from longitudinal extension it lies in between 75^o 13’ E to 75^o 58’ E. In this way the state has its location somewhat in North-western part of our country. The location of Bhiwani District in India, than Haryana. The state has 19 districts in all in which Bhiwani is one of them. The district is located in south western part of the state. Location of Bhiwani district revealed than in the west direction of the district – the state of Rajasthan lies, in the south – Mahendergarh district is located, in the east it is covered by two district boundaries i.e. Rohtak and Jhajjar district, respectively.  In this way the district Bhiwani is surrounded by four district and the interstate boundary of Rajasthan in the western direction.

Abstract: The area under study i.e. Khetri Region  is located in South-eastern part of Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan state with it’s geographical extension in between 27^o 40’ 24” to 28^o 17’ 12” N latitude and 75^o 39’ 59” to 76^o 12’ 59” E longitude. The district consists of three rivers which are seasonal by their nature of water stream flow point of view viz; Basai river,  Kantli river, and Chandravati river.
